Winter is coming but before it gets too cold up in the "north"it was just the right time to visit my sister in Turku. Surprisingly it turned out to be warmer up there than in the "south". We arrived Thursday evening. Since it was late and getting dark we didn't do much, just stayed in and watched tv a bit. Friday was the day to explore the city. We checked out a few stores and then visited the Turku cathedral. It's plain but very beautiful. Then it was time to head back to the apartment for some late lunch/early dinner whatever you wanna call it. It was a very sunny day no rain or snow in sight.
Talvi tulee mutta ennen kuin "pohjoisessa" tulee liian kylmä oli juuri sopiva aika käydä siskoa moikkaamassa Turussa. Yllättäen siellä oli lämpimämpää kuin "etelässä". Pääsimme perille torstaina illalla, ja koska oli myöhä emme tehneet paljoa, vähän telkkaria ja chillailua. Perjantaina oli tarkoitus tutkailla kaupunkia. Pistäydyimme muutamassa kaupassa ja kävimme myös Turun tuomiokirkossa. Se on yksinkertainen mutta kaunis. Sitten olikin jo aika suunnata asunnolle myöhäiselle lounaalle tai aikaiselle illalliselle, miksi sitä nyt kutsuisi. Päivä oli erittäin aurinkoinen eikä sateesta tai lumesta tietoakaan.
Friday nights are good for chilling and watching tv also, so my sister decided to bake a mudcake from scratch while we were watching some, and delish hot chocolate too, thanks sis! We then headed out for a little ride on the town. Cheek had a concert in Turku the same night and we happened to spot his Maserati in the city and a part of his crew too. So what else to do on a Friday night? Go out of course! My sister took me to the Börs nightclub where we met up with some of her friends. We danced the night away and had tons of fun. It was nice to see another city for a change.
Perjantai-illat ovat hyviä chillailuun ja TVn katsomiseen, joten sisko päätti leipoa mutakakun alusta asti kun tiirailimme telkkua, ja herkullista kaakaota myös, kiitokset siskolle! Herkkuhetken jälkeen suuntasimme kaupungille pienelle ajelulle. Cheekillä oli Turussa keikka samana iltana ja satuimme bongaamaan hänen Maseratinsa kaupungilla kuin myös osan hänen jengistään. Mitä muuta tekemistä perjantai-illalle? Ulos meneminen tietysti! Siskoni vei minut Börs yökerhoon jossa tapasimme hänen ystäviään. Ilta meni tanssilattialla ja hauskaa oli. Oli mukavaa nähdä toinenkin kaupunki välillä.
