It's been forever since I went to the movies so it was time for a traditional Saturday night; movie and drinks. Spending quality time with a friend you haven't seen in a long time is the best. And watching a hilarious movie together is even better. We went for That Awkward Moment with Zac Efron. Now there's a sight for sore eyes. The movie was hilarious. It was a romantic comedy from guys' point of view which made it even more fun. The whole theatre was laughing out loud, during some moments I really couldn't stop laughing and it was just a movie.
After a great movie it was time for some drinks. I gotta admit there aren't that many nice cocktail bars, but A21 definitely is one. The exclusivity starts at the door as you have to ring the doorbell to get in and usually you need to reserve a table to get a seat. The place is really not that big but I like the atmosphere. The couches are comfy and the service is good. And of course the main thing, the drinks. They are a bit pricier than what you get at regular clubs but the list is endless and you're sure gonna enjoy it. I decided to go for a delicious raspberry champagne cocktail while my friend A tried a blueberry vanilla drink. This is the place where you really sit down and talk and enjoy your drinks with time.
Viimeisestä leffassa käynnistä on aikaa joten vietin oikein perinteisen lauantai-illan; elokuva Tennarissa ja drinksuille sen jälkeen. Laatuaika ystävän kanssa jota ei ole nähnyt pitkään aikaan on parasta. Hauskan leffan katsominen yhdessä on vielä parempi. Päädyimme katsomaan Sinkkuna Suhteessa elokuvan jossa Zac Efron on pääosassa. Ja onhan häntä ihan mukava katsella. Leffa oli tosi hauska. Se on siis romanttinen komedia miesten näkökulmasta, joten se toi siihen hieman erilaisuutta. Koko teatteri nauroi ääneen ja itselläni oli joissain kohdin vaikea pidätellä naurua vaikka kyseessä oli vain leffa.
Hyvän leffan jälkeen on hyvä aika lähteä drinkeille. Täytyy myöntää että pääkaupungista ei kovin montaa hyvää cocktail baaria löydy, mutta A21 kuuluu niihin. Eksklusiivisuus alkaa jo ovelta, sillä sisään pääsee ainoastaan ovikelloa soittamalla, hieman erikoista siis. Yleensä kannattaa myös varata pöytä etukäteen varsinkin jos on isommalla porukalla liikenteessä. Tämä lounge ei ole varsin iso mutta pidän siitä kuitenkin. Sohvat ovat mukavia ja palvelu hyvää. Ja tietysti pääasia, drinkit. Hintataso on hieman korkeampi kuin yleisesti mutta lista on loputon ja drinkeistä tosiaan nauttii. Itse päädyin herkulliseen vadelma samppanja cocktailiin ja ystäväni A kokeili mustikka vanilja drinkkiä. Täällä tosiaan saa istua rauhassa ja jutella ja nauttia drinkeistään ajan kanssa.
This one will definitely be a new favorite of mine. You can see the champagne nicely on top and I really appreciate the fresh ingredients they use such as the raspberries in my drink. I had a fun night and this was the perfect ending for it. Next week is going to be really busy for me with lots to do so this weekend was really needed. Tomorrow it's a new week and back to work. Tästä todellakin tulee uusi suosikkini. Samppanjakerros näkyy kivasti päällä ja tuoreet raaka-aineet ovat myös todella tärkeitä. Ei siis mitään pakastemarjasekoitusta vaan tuoreita vadelmia. Minulla oli hauska ilta ja se päättyi hyvin. Ensi viikko tulee olemaan aika kiireinen ja paljon tehtävää joten tämä viikonloppu tuli todella tarpeen. Huomenna uusi viikko ja takaisiin töihin. Kippis!
