My Monday and the new week started out really busy. I woke up early and enjoyed breakfast, the sun was shining high up already. I made some phone calls taking care of some errands and the early afternoon we headed to the airport to pick up my sister, she was coming back home from Berlin. The heat was just incredible today, it would've been a perfect day to spend at the lake house. I came back to the city from the airport and just changed my outfit real quick into something more sporty.
As you might remember, I bought some new running shoes earlier. As they need to be tested before actually running in them I decided to take a test "run" today. I also took care of the voting for the Euro election this week. The weather was just perfect and the breeze cooled it down just enough. When I got back home it was time to watch (hopefully not) Finland's last game in the hockey world championships this year. Tomorrow it's back to work again and on with the new week. Minun maanantaini ja viikkoni alkoi kiireisenä. Heräsin aikaisin ja nautin aamiaista kun aurinko jo paistoi korkealla. Hoidin puhelimitse asioita ja aikaisin iltapäivällä suuntasimme lentokentälle hakemaan siskoani, hän tuli takaisin Berliinin reissulta. Kuumuus oli aivan polttava tänään, olisi ollut oiva päivä viettää mökillä. Palasin kaupunkiin kentältä ja vaihdoin pikaisesti hieman sporttisemmat vaatteet päälle.
Kuten ehkä muistatte ostin jokin aika sitten uudet juoksukengät. Eihän autoakaan oteta käyttöön ilman testiajoa joten pitäähän kengätkin käyttää pienellä testilenkillä ennen kuin niillä alkaa juoksemaan. Samalla tuli hoidettua tuo Eurovaaliäänestys pois alta. Jatkoin lenkkiä äänestyksen jälkeen kävellen siis ja pieni tuuli teki ilmasta sopivan viileän. Päästyäni kotiin olikin jo aika katsoa Suomen (toivottavasti ei viimeistä) matsia näissä lätkän MM-kisoissa. Huomenna onkin sitten töiden vuoro ja uusi viikko jatkuu. Miten teidän on alkanut?
